Zach Heyer
Zach Heyer is a Phoenix, Arizona native and has lived in the Valley most of his life. Zach attended Brophy College Prep and graduated from Thunderbird High School. He enrolled at Northern Arizona University and became interested in restaurants after working in a pizza shop in high school. While attending NAU, he worked as a cook in a bar & grill and a pizza place. Zach received his degree from NAU in Hotel Restaurant Management where the program is considered one of the best in the country.
After graduation Zach moved back to Phoenix and got a job at the Princess Resort where he learned front of the house skills by serving at one of the resort's restaurants. A year later he got a job in Colorado for Vail Resorts as an assistant manager for the Outpost Restaurant. This building has three restaurants in one. Zach learned about wine, fine dinning and what it takes to run a staff with a high volume operation. After three years he moved back to Phoenix and started at Mastros Steakhouse where he met Executive Chef Charles Schward for the first time. Zach worked at Mastro's for eight years as a server learning what it takes to be a professional waiter.
Now Zach and Charles have met again at Charles' new venture, Arrowhead Grill. Zach looks forward to making your experience at Arrowhead Grill as memorable as possible and will serve you with his knowledge of the menu, wine and years of restaurant experience. |
